In 1972 I bought a Viscount Organ after meeting Alan Haven. He had his Viscount organ keyboard controlling the ARP 2600 it and he were amazing. I used it on Strawbs ‘Bursting At The Seams’ album and live gigs. It can really be heard on the B side of ‘Lay Down’ originally titled “Ziggy Barlust and the Whales from Uranus’ but the record company thought it better to change the title we then suggested ‘Backside’ but they called it ‘B Side’.
The Viscount Leslie style speaker was unique in as much as the whole speaker revolved to create the slow/fast effect…

Hey Blue, I’m 52, first time I seen your name was on this LP I bought titled Bee Gees Greatest hits. It was a tri-fold LP, I was 16 in 1983 when I purchased it. But when I was 11 in ‘78, I started going to the skating arena with my older sister, I think my mother insisted, lol, and started becoming aware of the beautiful melodies like Stayin’ Alive, and Night Fever, Tragedy and others, anyway when I purchased my own Album, I read through the whole Album, and came across your name in the credits as the keyboards, and of course since I have the Weaver name over the years I was proud to tell people that “Blue Weaver was the main keyboardist for The Bee Gees” , oh cool ok. Love your work Blue, I play with friends and wrote and recorded several songs over the years here at home never put out there, except for one titled “Rocket Man David Weaver” on YouTube. But since I was so bashful I was gonna call my band “Blue Recluse” 😂
